Implement a whole-classroom, inclusive approach to early intervention in this collaborative planning process. Get hands-on training in and support for universal developmental screening practices, such as the ASQ-3 and ASQ-SE.
Presented by SFCD. Offered in English, Spanish and Cantonese. Learn about Special Education law, the IEP process, what to do when things aren’t working, and how to become a more active and effective team member.
Connect more deeply with your child while minimizing disruptive behaviors. The Stepping Stones course uses the same gentle positive parenting approach but is specifically created for parents of pre-adolescent children with a disability.
This is an opportunity for you to meet with other families as well as for you and your child to practice new social skills, explore emotions, and play with peers in an inclusive and welcoming space. Ages 0-6.
The Information and Resource Conference (IRC) is a FREE annual conference for families of children with disabilities, the professionals who work with them, and community members.
