For over 40 years, Support for Families of Children with Disabilities (SFCD) has empowered families with the knowledge and tools to ensure their child receives the care they need at school, at home, and within the community.
It’s our mission to ensure that families of children with disabilities, learning differences, and/or complex medical needs, and the providers who serve them, have the knowledge and support to make informed choices that enhance children’s development and well-being.
As a parent-led organization, we believe in increasing equity and accessibility for all children with disabilities, learning differences, or complex medical needs–especially those historically excluded from services, systems, and support.
We’re dedicated to creating a community where our children flourish.
Every donation that comes to Support for Families is put to work to help families who have children with special needs and the professionals who work with them. Each year, we summarize our work and accomplishments in an Annual Report.
