Presented in English with Cantonese and Spanish interpretation available upon request.
We have adapted our Foundations of Inclusion training to a cohort model of trainings. Professionals who commit to the Foundations of Inclusion Cohort will receive a series of trainings focused on inclusion and the laws that protect children and their students, partnering with families, supporting families with developmental screening and referrals to necessary supports, and how to create and implement child support plans. The goal of a new Foundations of Inclusion Cohort is to ensure that professionals feel confident in supporting children within their programs, decrease preschool suspensions and expulsions, and that all families and children feel a sense of inclusion and belonging. To Receive credit and professional development hours, participants must attend all trainings in the series & participate in follow up coaching with an SFCD Team member.
