This workshop will provide families some helpful tips to effectively advocate for their child and provide professionals with strategies to assist families in better advocating on behalf of their children. Participants will learn about the skills they need to be an effective advocate in different settings like school and with services providers and learn specific ways they can better access the resources they need to support their child academic and life success.
