Presented in English with Cantonese and Spanish interpretation available.
Many children with disabilities can’t communicate (or communicate well) verbally. How do we help these students access communication and learn language? You will gain a foundational understanding of what Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) technology or ‘aided language’ is, the power of core vocabulary, and ways to start immersing non-verbal students in accessible language-rich environments and experiences.
