Children who aren’t (or aren’t primarily) verbal communicators need to learn communication and language through AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication). Learning AAC is a little like learning another language, and it can be difficult for families to know how to help their AAC learners grow into effective AAC communicators. This 4-part series Introduces families to AAC, and builds family skills to help their AAC learners.
