What can families with kids with special needs do to work with their school Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to prepare their child for a safety emergency at school?

-Work with your child’s IEP team to create an individual emergency plan
-Practice social stories to help your child know what to do in an emergency
-Fill out a Grab and Go tool that can stay with your child in case of an emergency
