The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) Special Education Ombudsperson is the family, community and staff liaison for students in the district with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). During COVID, the help provided to families by the Ombudsperson has expanded beyond navigating IEPs. Ombudsperson support is free, neutral and confidential.
