“My student has an IEP and I think I understand my basic rights; how do I make sure the IEP gets them the educational support my child needs?”
Join Support for Families of Children with Disabilities and CASE, the Community Alliance for Special Education, for our First Annual “Back-to-School IEP Boot Camp”! This in-person workshop series is an in-depth, hands-on experience designed to help families understand all portions of their student’s IEP. Families are encouraged to bring their student’s IEP, psychoeducational report, and all other related documents – we’ll be dissecting them together. By the end of the workshop series, families will understand their child’s current IEP, gain basic advocacy strategies, and be ready to collaborate with their school team to take their child’s IEP to the next level.
Must commit to both days. Max of 25 people; all others will be put on waitlist.
Interpretation and refreshments available; child care will not be provided
